Abstract Submission Guidelines

ISDE India Edition 2026

Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral, poster, or video presentations. All submissions must represent original research or clinical cases relevant to diseases of the esophagus. By submitting, authors confirm that the work has not been published elsewhere and that all ethical standards for human/animal research have been met.

1. Submission Format & Technical Rules

  • Language: All abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Word Count: The body of the abstract is limited to 300 words.
  • Structure: Must follow: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
  • Title: Limit to 25 words. Use "Sentence case".
  • Figures/Tables: One allowed (reduces word limit by 50).

2. Presentation Types

Oral Presentation

All abstracts will be reviewed and scored by an independent expert review committee. Selection for presentation format (oral/podium or e-poster) will be based on scientific merit, originality, methodological rigor, and overall relevance to the conference theme. The decision of the scientific committee will be final.

Video Session

2. Video Abstract Guidelines

  • Duration: Maximum 6 minutes. Videos exceeding the limit will not be considered.
  • Quality: Must be high audiovisual quality with clear narration, legible text, stable visuals, and noise-free audio.
  • Upload: Upload the video to Google Drive and provide a shareable viewing link.
  • Access: Ensure the Google Drive link remains active until the review process is completed.
  • Written Abstract: A structured abstract (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) must also be submitted.

3. Ethics & Copyright

  • Conflict of Interest: All financial interests must be disclosed.
  • Ethical Approval: Studies must state IRB approval and informed consent.
  • Originality: Work must be original and not previously published.
